Our
New Covenant Church family takes very seriously these words that Jesus
spoke: "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel" (Mark 16:15 NKJV).
Because of this command, known as the Great Commission, we seek to
train, send, supply and give oversight to missionaries, both foreign and
domestic.
We
whole-heartedly endorse missionary organizations, as well as sending out local mission trips throughout the year; yet we do not believe this relieves
the local church of its responsibility in world mission efforts. On the
contrary, the Great Commission was given to the local church, and as
such, has motivated New Covenant to have a giving heart to the nations
of the earth.
Currently,
as throughout the years, a significant portion of New Covenant's income
goes to support the work of a number of missionaries and missionary
causes around the world.
